Ed Vegter’s construction career started in 1976 when he received a Bachelors of Building Construction from the School of Architecture at the University of Florida. Ed has worked as a designer, project manager, and on site superintendent and is a master craftsman in many construction trades and has completed many diverse construction projects since that time in Florida, Minnesota and for the last 11 years in North Carolina. His North Carolina experience has included residential new construction and renovations, as well as commercial projects. His duties included project management, estimating and project superintendence. Completed projects include design build and competitive bid projects for homes, schools, churches, retail, commercial, and industrial projects. Ed was formerly the Senior Project Manager for Matthews Construction Company, Inc. in Charlotte North Carolina prior to founding Vegter Builders
